Trenton Afterschool Tennis Championships!
On May 26, 2010 over 144 students from 18 New Jersey After 3 afterschool programs in Trenton participated in “Trenton Short-Court Championships”, hosted by National Junior Tennis & Learning of Trenton (NJTLT). This first annual event culminated a tennis program that served 800 afterschool students in 20 New Jersey After 3 programs in Trenton Public Schools over the course of 22-weeks.
More than 30 adult volunteers, city officials, and staff from the national United States Tennis Association (USTA) office, and the USTA Middle States Section attended.
