Newark Global Village School Zone RFP
The Newark Global Village Expanded Learning Time Initiative is a unique partnership between six schools of the Newark Global Village, New Jersey After 3, New York University, Newark Public Schools and several private philanthropic investors. New Jersey After 3 seeks nonprofit community-based “program partners” to implement the expanded learning time programs at each of the six schools in NGVSZ. These expanded learning time programs will follow the evidence-based New Jersey After 3 program model, and will be managed and supported by New Jersey After 3. There will be strong coordination and collaboration between New Jersey After 3, the community-based program partner, the principal, school community, and school district.

New Jersey After 3 is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established as a public-private partnership to
make resources available to afterschool programs throughout New Jersey. With a dedicated Board
of Trustees drawn from business, education and other nonprofits, New Jersey After 3 is uniquely positioned to
identify and attract resources, both public and private, to high quality afterschool programs.
