Jim McGlynn
Director of Institutional Development & Policy Initiatives
Jim serves New Jersey After 3 as its Director of Institutional Development and Policy Initiatives; overseeing the organization’s development, marketing, public policy and community outreach functions. He has more than 10 years of management experience in the education and social service sectors, and has held leadership roles with Liberty Science Center, Huntington Learning Centers, and Citizen Schools.
Jim shares his joy
and experiences in teaching, public policy and fundraising
as he works with an amazing team to engage public and private
sector leaders in expanding learning time students throughout the state. A lifelong New
Jersey resident, his passion to engage positive adult role
models in the lives of children is inspired by the countless
individuals who supported him and his family when he was a
child.
Jim is a graduate
of Rutgers University, where his studies focused on science
and education, and his experiences included leadership roles
of a number of service and Greek organizations. He has earned
dual bachelor degrees in physics and chemistry, and continues
to be a die-hard Scarlet Knights football fan.
